SportMax front seats are also an original design, born from frustration with the lack of comfort in the stock front seat, and the lack of options in the aftermarket (we own a hotrod, NOT a touring rig!). So, the idea for a good-looking seat that was comfortable as well was born. What evolved is a gunfighter-style front seat, with a low, lean, Deep V look, that sits you where your are designed to sit, on your butt, not the inside of your thighs, like the stock seat does. Seats use high density foam and marine grade vinyl, for a lasting combination of great looks and feel. Seats are a good match for stock colors on rear and center sections, however, recovering is available as well, to match your new SportMax. An added benefit to the SportMax seat: It is a fact that when you sit on the bike, you become part of its center of gravity, and therefore affect its handling characteristics. A SportMax places you 2-3" lower in the bike, not only making you feel a part of your MAX, instead of perching you atop it, but also lowering the effective wieght of the bike/rider combo, improving handling and feel. If you're tired of sitting on the inside of your thighs, cutting off the blood to your legs, uncomfortable after only an hour with the stock seat, and don't want to turn your 'hotrod' into something that looks like 1/2 a dresser or touring bike, the answer is here!

SportMax Rear Seats

For those of you passengers out there who saw the SportMax front seats, and said "Nice & comfy, great looking as well; NOW, What about ME???", the time has come! Rear seats are now available as well!!! They lose the stock profile,(as well as that 'brick wedge' feel), for a smoother, rounder profile, that blends with the rest of the seat, & are made with the same high density foam, and marine grade vinyl, as the fronts, for a great match. These are sold on an exchange basis as well(I need the stock seat base, with pad, cover and rubber strap removed). So, MAXers, now you can keep your passengers as happy and comfortable on those long rides as U are, with a SportMax rear!!!


SportMax Center Sections

To complete your SportMax look, and make your center section blend in and look GREAT, with the rest of your SportMax seat, PARTICULARLY in the 2-tone and weave designs, we offer a recover, that gives the stock padding more definition, and blends center section in with the rest of the seat. A REAL finishing touch to your SportMax seat!


SportMax Backrest Pad

To complete your SportMax seats, we now offer a pad for the Yamaha backrest, in both 2-tone & weave pattern. Looks GREAT, and finishes the SportMax look! $40. (exchange) (please leave the cover ON, when shipping the old pad) *** Try any or all of them out for 30 days; if they are not what you like, and I can not tailor them to your liking, send them back, I will replace it with a stocker, and all it will cost is the postage!!! I need the stock front and/or rear seat base plastics ONLY, w/pad, cover and center flip section removed (center will rebolt to SportMax seat), unless U are sending rear for recover only; then I need the pad for the rear.

CENTER SECTION, if sent, is to have the COVER ONLY removed. DO NOT try to remove the pad; it will NOT come off easily, and it is needed (there will be an extra chrage to repad the center, and it will not look as good as the stock padding...)

PLEASE ship cores in a box big enough for a padded seat return
